All are welcome to worship at St. Mark’s in the Bowery. Wherever you are in your spiritual journey, the members of St. Mark’s would love to know you, grow with you, and learn from you. You will be a valued part of our community.
The spiritual sacrament that marks you as a Christian is Baptism. If you are interested in being baptized, please contact us.
Discussions of what it means to be a Christian in the Episcopal Church are scheduled as needed. Often, class-style gatherings are set up in the spring to coincide with the season of Lent in the church calendar, culminating in Easter Services.
Formal membership in the congregation is symbolized by pledging.
The pledge is your sign that you plan to be involved in the governance of St. Mark’s, and helps the church to plan financially. You become eligible to vote in the Annual Meeting, which includes the budgeting and planning for the coming year.
Please prayerfully consider this form of support.
