ramp it up! campaign accomplishes goal!

Before and After view of the ramp leading up to the Center Doors

“All are welcome, all are welcome in this place…” is a refrain from a popular hymn we often sing at St. Mark’s Church in the Bowery.

Our goal was to build a permanent ramp in keeping with our building’s historic architecture that will allow all to enter through our center gate and center doorway. By doing so, we hope that our church will reflect our congregation’s commitment to welcome all to experience the love of God in this place, exactly as they are. Learn more about the ramp.

Your contributions are still needed as we will need to pay off the balance of the loan. If you’d like to be a part of this historic project, you can donate here:

You may also mail a check to the office or make an offering during our Sunday services.
Please be sure to include “Ramp It Up!” in the memo line.

Every valley shall be raised up,
Every mountain and hill made low;
the rough ground shall become level,
the rugged places a plain.
