One Day’s Food: Responding to Starvation in Gaza
Support for Our Diocese has launched an effort to collect donations for World Central Kitchen and to begin to advocate for the safe passage of aid through Gaza. We’ve watched in the news in recent weeks how dire an already brutal situation has become. The diocese is calling for each of us to donate what we spend on one day of food back to relief efforts in Gaza and to sign a call for access to aid. You can donate here, or sign the petition here.
Multi-Faith Mondays: Witness for Democracy at Columbus Circle
Mondays at 5:30 | Columbus Circle
Join Rev. Anne Marie, Jeannine Otis and the St. Mark’s Choir along with interfaith leaders across the city for a weekly witness for democracy. Ecclesia
Sundays at 2:00pm
On Sundays, St. Marks in the Bowery hosts “Ecclesia,” an outdoor church ministry committed to serving unhoused and under-resourced New Yorkers. The ministry offers a 2pm Eucharist service every Sunday, fellowship, and a bagged lunch to everyone who joins. As the host parish, St. Mark’s will offer storage space and participate in making sandwiches and celebrating the Eucharist about once a month.
