Help st. mark’s unlock a $250,000 matching grant from the National Fund for Sacred Places to renovate our Parish Hall and Kitchen
Your donation will help us renovate the Parish Hall and our Kitchen, allowing us and our partners to expand our community programs, offer more vital services for our neighbors, and remain a safe refuge for the arts.
The St. Mark’s Parish Hall has been a beating heart in New York City’s East Village for generations.
In use seven days a week, our Parish Hall serves as a gathering place for worship and fellowship, community meetings, art programs, poetry readings, social justice organizing, shared meals, and countless neighborhood events. More than just a building, the Parish Hall is where faith meets action — a vital, welcoming space that nurtures creativity, connection, and care for all.
We regularly host and offer our space for community organizations, rights groups, neighborhood meetings, local political and community leaders, 12-step groups, and other partners.
Our Welcome Center offers food and resources for those seeking refuge or asylum in New York. We offer a monthly family night on Friday evenings. Twice a month, we host concerts open to the public featuring local musicians. We also open our yards and church spaces to the entire neighborhood for special celebrations.

We've secured $600K through institutional support.
St. Mark's has been awarded a $250,000 matching grant from the National Fund for Sacred Places. To unlock it, we must raise $250,000 by June 1, 2027. Every dollar you give is doubled.
