St. Mark’s has four venues available for rent, contracted at the discretion of the church. Read more about rental requirements in our space use policies pamphlet. You are welcome to inquire about rental space below..

The Sanctuary

Sanctuary

  • 300 persons maximum capacity

  • 1,692 sq ft (36’ by 47’) hard wood flooring

  • Carpeted risers on the east and west sides of the room

  • No food or drink allowed without prior arrangement

  • Flexible seating (auditorium seating possible)

  • $300 per hour plus monitor fee, three (3) hour minimum

The Parish Hall

  • 125 persons maximum capacity

  • 1,710 sq ft (38’ by 45’) hard wood flooring

  • $200 per hour plus monitor fee, two (2) hour minimum

West Yard & Gardens

West Yard & Gardens

  • 125 persons maximum capacity

  • $300 per hour plus monitor fee, two (2) hour minimum

East Yard

  • 200 persons maximum capacity

  • $250 per hour plus monitor fee, two (2) hour minimum

Our yards are active burial grounds. All proposed events are subject to approval by our Rector.

Weddings

If you’re considering holding your wedding at St. Mark’s—congratulations! We are very pleased to marry same-sex couples and to bless civil unions.

Because St. Mark’s is an Episcopal Church, there are requirements to be married in the Sanctuary:

  • The marriage must conform to the laws of the State and the Canons of the Episcopal Church.

  • The ceremony must be witnessed by at least two people.

  • One of the two to be married must be a baptized Christian.

  • The marriage must take place according to a liturgy of the Episcopal Church.

  • The couple to be married must complete at least three sessions of pre-marital counseling before the wedding.

Weddings in the Parish Hall may not be subject to all these requirements.
